John is a jack of all real estate trades! John was raised in a family that worked in construction, with a contractor/businessman grandfather who built a 68 unit apartment building in New Jersey. The buildings were fully self managed by John and his family for over 20 years, giving John a substantial hands on knowledge on all things real estate.
John is a current local hands on real estate investor and with 6 self managed rentals in Greensboro and a 30 acre trailer park/ tiny house project in the works in Southern Virginia.
Experienced and Driven
John has been licensed as a NC home inspector since 2019 after acquiring and fixing rentals and falling in love with single family inspection, renovation and refinance (BRRRR). Since being licensed, John has completed over 1000 residential home inspections, has trained multiple inspectors and has written over 50,000 inspection comments.
John is passionate about real estate, improving things and coming up with practical and efficient solutions to complex problems. Heads Up Home Inspection was created so John could share his attention to detail, expansive house/systems knowledge, and investment aptitude to help those around him navigate the wise investment in real estate!
